Created the UK’s first successful unitisation hotel model selling over 1,000 units with a capital value of £450 million between County Hall and One Westminster Bridge Park Plazas.

GNAM undertook the unitisation model on this hotel, working with Park Plaza to sell off the units to individual owners on long leasehold agreements. GNAM also marketed a seminar of the property to global investors and constructed a selling strategy.

Today, GNAM asset manages the hotel on behalf of the investors.

GNAM worked closely with the landlord of the Arts Club to transform the upper floors of the Arts Club into a high-end hotel. We managed the entire process from supporting the planning application process to selecting the contractor. GNAM managed the entire professional team during the development process.

The multimillion pound conversion project to 16 bedrooms was completed in November 2015.

GNAM’s directors have been intricately involved in the transformation of the St James’s Hotel and Club into one of London’s leading hotels.

The directors supported the development of a comprehensive £18 million investment plan and asset managed the property until its sale in 2010 for approximately £60 million by Gerard Nolan & Partners and Savills.

GNAM advised Frogmore with their plans to develop a luxury eighty bedroom hotel at 3-4 South Place.

We advised on the appropriate development scheme, assisted in the planning permission process and completed an operator search for Frogmore.

Subsequently we helped agree a deal with the hotel operator D&D London to lease the hotel on a 35 year term. D&D London own or operate over 20 restaurants in London alone, including Quaglinos, Coq d’Argent and the Bluebird Chelsea. As this is D&D London’s first hotel, there is a strong emphasis on good quality food and beverage, offering two restaurants, three bars and private dining for guests.

Following practical completion and the opening of the hotel in September 2012, we were instructed to asset manage South Place Hotel, working with D&D London to increase value and continually grow revenue.

  • Over 14 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Operational experience, experience in market and financial feasibility studies and has seven years asset management experience.
  • Oversees the asset management at GNAM working together with investors to maximise their investment and representing their interests.
  • Experience in asset managing a wide range of properties ranging from three to five star properties and from 50 bedrooms to 400 bedrooms.
  • Asset management experience includes completion of CapEx projects, performance analysis, assessment of value creation, obtaining planning permission, managing asset disposal process.
  • Significant experience in asset managing and creating an exit strategy for distressed hotel assets.
